A CLASS DIVIDED

A CLASS DIVIDED

The video was a good demonstration of teaching a lesson to the children about the effects of different treatment when considering their skin color. However, one thing that I pity the children about their mistreatment of the brown eyes children of the blue eye children and vice versa. The way children treated each other was not a surprise in a general sense in regards to the human nature. Although, the same can be expected from the children, especially at the age of experiment was a total surprise. The scene in which a child didn't wear his contact lenses the next day to class after having learned that his blue eyes made him superior to everyone else. So, he wanted to expose his eyes has much as possible.

Since the world has become a global village it is very important that such experiments need to be conducted in order to make the point of how people should be treated equally regardless of their race, religious beliefs and gender. Understanding the need of diversity from a young age can be useful as this can help ones career if it involves bringing the best out of people of all personalities and ethnic groups.

The ability to work with everyone despite the cultural, racial and religious differences exposes a person to learn from everyone. The exposure to transculturation in early age group makes it easier to adjust as one moves in higher education and/or explores career opportunities on a global scale that consists people with multiple intelligences.
