Advantages
VS Disadvantages of Computer Tech
Talk about the computer technology how it has
revolutionized our way of
lives, effecting all the fronts that we value so much
economics, policies,
travel as a matter of fact, it has changed the global
prospective on the
undeniable importance of cyber world and everything that
is affiliated with
it. At the same pace the computers have penetrated not
only tangibles but
also those things that we will value in the unmaterialistic
sense, Such as
emotional and physical health. Regardless of the new studies that have
come out stating the negatives that the computer
technologies have to
offer the computer industries have and continue to come
out with new
gadgets better than before to bring more convince to
humanity in general.
Recently, many of these assistive technologies have been
introduced that
help the people with very weak or no vision at all. It’s
these kinds of
improvements that people have and are putting up with the
destructive
side of technology as well. There are now keyboards are
available that do
not require to input information in a traditional way for
the purpose of
accessing the online data. The keyboards are being
designed so that the
person with no vision can feel the keys to determine the text
that they wish to enter. Even
better voice command keyboard allows a person that is disabled,
visually and is unable to
type as well. Much software converts the text into audio
so that the visually impaired
people to communicate via the Internet.
The dilemma of technology has always been the fact that
it has its
positives and negatives. If one draws the analogy, how
tech race in
capitalism is on the mission to convert the planet
earth’s raw materials into
waste it is obvious that the people that once were spare
from experiencing
the health hazards that the technology comes with are
contributing to it.
Now the disable will also contribute their share of the waste,
disposed of
products such as the use of more paper, CD’s, and
hazardous materials
that are used in making of these products. In short, it
will be just making
the bigger carbon foot on the environment. At the same
time the idea of
green computing is starting to float and many, if not all
electronic products
are coming out with the star energy technology what it
does, it uses the
components in the production of computerss, laptops that
use less energy
and the components are also recyclable. Furthermore, the
tech industry is
also working to minimize the direct health hazards that
the excessive use
of computer has on us better keyboards, screen covers to
counter the
fatigue that might be caused by the use of computers etc.
Although, these
are just the few things that that tech companies have
committed to do in
order to make a better product to gain the largest chunk
in this magnums industry. The
task to keep the use of technology a healthy practice
heavily lays on an individual. For
instance, the phenomena of Internet addiction are
something that only the individual can
control. According to an government study the
psychological impact that the use of 15
minutes of Internet has long standing depression,
impulsive nonconformity and autism
traits. However, this
is still a debated issue wide variety of studies have shown the
emotional and psychological effects on a human being
especially when it comes to the
social websites.
Currently, there are some governments around the world
that are working
on passing the legislations that should address the
environmental issues
and make it more safe for people to take advantage of the
computer
technology with minimal risk, however, it still is up to
people to decide how
they use the technologies by only being exposed to the
advantages and
not disadvantages of the computer technology.
